Praise God for a blessing of a holiday inThailand! Praise God for blessing my sister, and in turn blessing us with the accomodation and transportation!

 1. Day 1 – Arrived in Bangkok at 10pm,  First negotiation for a cab to the hotel. (Almost cheated)
2. Walked around a sleeping street,  Went up to tallest tower in Bangkok, slept.

 5. Day 3 – Walked at Siam Paragorn, my personal highlight was eating Gelato Mochi (super w00t), went to MBK, failed at locating Grade AAA Jerseys at affordable prices, went to Chong Nonsi for a Thai Massage (at a non dodgy health spa) (Happy Birthday, Sister)
6. Went for Suit Fitting, birthday dinner at Baiyoke Sky, observed Bangkok at 84th Floor, slept.

7. Day 4 – Went to Platinum Again (but got ‘cheated’ and bought more Gems first), bought very cheap Wireless Headphones (w00t) at Computer City (g33k r0×0rz).
8. Collected cheap-expensive suit, FOUND Grade AAA Jerseys (Terry 26 + J. Cole 10) (Come on You Blues!!) , ate Macdonalds Pork Burgers, Went to Airport and Flew Back

When i came back, i was extremely delighted to read a Praise Report from Pastor Andy – that we have now hit 800 attendees for our Sunday Services for two consecutive weeks!! (pls see note* below)

So, Praise God for a Wonderful Time!

 

note* Feb 2008 saw 200-300 people attending Sunday Services @ ACTS, Feb 2009 saw 700 people attending Sunday Services @ ACTS and today, we’re hitting 800! Glory

 

Signs of Revival July 3, 2009

Just got back from a great great time at Bukit Jalil / Cheras HOMES!

I realize that sometimes the way i describe church services or activities can seem to be exaggerated and/or hyped up. But here, i’d like to clarify that this is the ONLY way i know how to describe my experiences (ACTSperiences) every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the presence of God!

Getting into God's Word

One of the most important part of my life i’ve realized that has changed is how i’m so excited to get into God’s Word not just in Church but also during the weekdays.

On Sundays, i can’t contain the excitement of getting filled and FULFILLED with God’s Word through the preaching of the Word by our Pastors, Elders and Leaders. Truly, every sunday is a SPECIAL Sunday!

Acts 2 : 42 says :

^41-42That day about three thousand took him at his word, were baptized and were signed up. They committed themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the life together, the common meal, and the prayers. (The Message)

When Revival kicks in, we see Christians beginning to get excited in :
1) The Teaching of the Word
2) Fellowship
3) Communion
4) Intercession

So, Come on , ACTS!! Let’s really allow the Holy Spirit to move in our lives!!

Jesus Didn’t Die… June 22, 2009

Just so we can live a normal life (with the World).
Just so we can be happy and comfortable.

Jesus Died so we can live our life to the Purpose that He has called us to!
Pastor Andy really “preached his guts out” (qt: Facebook Status Message) during yesterday’s 4pm Sunday Evening Service (SES). The messages i’ve heard in Acts are REAL, RELEVANT and are always a REVELATION to all those who hear.

Never once have i heard a sermon in my church that doesn’t deal with dealing with ourselves before we can truly say to God “we want Revival in Malaysia”. Revival needs to be gin with our hearts.

AND REVIVAL IS BREAKING FORTH IN Acts!!

The Holy Spirit calls the church to repentance and henceforth - Revival

At Acts, we follow up with Visitors not for statistics, but to give them a taste (pun intended) of the type of Genuine Love and Care they will receive from us!
